Product BENEFITS
Curious to uncover the secrets behind these skincare staples? Explore what makes them stand out, their product ranges, hero ingredients that work wonders, and our insightful tips on optimal product usage.
The Ordinary
Range: The Ordinary is a very versatile brand with a variety of products that can be used all over the body. Besides its skincare products, the brand also offers body washes, hair products, and lash and brow serums.
Cruelty-free: The Ordinary is a vegan brand that is also proudly cruelty-free. This means they do not test any of their products on animals. The brand thus has the Leaping Bunny and PETA stamp of approval.
Best suited for: The Ordinary is best for skincare enthusiasts of all skin types. Their range is quite varied with mild products but also highly potent products that are best used by experienced users.
Mixsoon
Range: Mixsoon focuses mainly on its niche of providing quality skincare products with items like serums, face toners, hydrating cleansers, and essences. They have a small range of mild mouthwashes and beauty tools.
Cruelty-free: Mixsoon is entirely cruelty-free and vegan. Each product bought with their polar bear mascot โSoondyโ on the label will also help them contribute to the protection of endangered polar bears.
Best suited for: Mixsoon is for skincare lovers who want gentle ingredients without the fear of harsh chemicals possibly damaging the skin. It’s also for anyone looking for intense hydration to achieve a glass skin look and feel.
Hero Ingredients
Not sure what youโre putting on your skin? Check out the special ingredients in each brandโs top-selling products to see what sets them apart.
The Ordinary
Some of The Ordinaryโs hero ingredients include exfoliants which can increase sun sensitivity as well as possible chemical burns if not used correctly. It is also worth noting that not all ingredients can be used on top of each other as this can increase the possibility of adverse effects.
- Hyaluronic Acid
- AHA
- Glycolic Acid
- Niacinamide
- Squalane
Mixsoon
Mixsoon keeps it simple and only has a handful of โcleanโ, locally sourced, plant-based ingredients. For example, they specially cultivate Centella Asiatica extracts without pesticides or chemicals on the pure lands of Jeju Island. This makes mixing all its products easy and has a low chance of damaging the skin barrier.
- Fermented Soy Bean
- Centella Asiatica
- Hyaluronic Acid
- Galactomyces
- Bifida
Mixsoon vs The Ordinary Skincare: Ideal Products for Each Skin Type
Mixsoon and The Ordinary have a diverse range of products to help you achieve the perfect skincare routine to match your skin type. But how do each brandโs products differ? First, weโll look at Mixsson products and compare these to The Ordinaryโs products.
Dry Skin
Dry skin is a common condition caused by factors like cold weather, dry air, harsh soaps, dehydration, and certain skin conditions. Brands like Mixsoon and The Ordinary offer effective solutions for managing and alleviating dry skin.
Mixsoon
Mixsoon prides itself in promoting glowy, glass skin. To do that, youโll need to boost hydration as this is the secret weapon to that luminous but not greasy appearance. So, you can expect highly nourishing products in their line.
Their Glacier Water Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Bean Cream Moisturiser help to lock in moisture and keep the skin supple and plump. Their cult favourite Bean Essence helps to gently exfoliate the skin to remove any rough textures. At the same time, it provides deep moisturisation to once, again, lock in moisture.
The Ordinary
The best products you can use for dry skin are The Ordinaryโs Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 & Marine Hyaluronic. This potion in a bottle offers instant hydration thanks to its five forms of hyaluronic acid.
Another powerful serum to use is the Alpha Arbutin & AHA BHA Serum. It not only hydrates but also exfoliates. With this product, you can reduce the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation while promoting cell turnover for smoother, brighter skin.
Lock in moisture with the Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA moisturiser to support the skin barrier and prevent further dryness.
Verdict
While The Ordinaryโs Alpha Arbutin & AHA BHA Serum helps exfoliate dry skin, it is not suitable for dry sensitive skin. These harsh acids can irritate skin increasing dryness and flakiness.
Mixsoon products are suitable for all skin types and focus on boosting hydration so win this round.
Oily Skin
Oily skin is the result of an overproduction of sebum. The key to tackling this common issue lies in finding the perfect balance rather than completely stripping your skin of its natural oils. Products that dry out the skin can irritate it stimulating an overproduction of oil.
Thankfully, both The Ordinary and Mixsoon have a good range of products for this.
Mixsoon
Mixsoonโs Soondy Centella Asiatica Essence and Bean Essence are favourites among people with oily skin because they hydrate without clogging pores. The Bean Essence also gently exfoliates to remove dead skin cells and help regulate sebum production.
Their Centella Sun Cream SPF50 PA++++ is the perfect product to layer on top of your moisturiser without adding a white cast. Its innovative blend ensures that even those with oily skin can enjoy a matte finish throughout the day.
Ordinary
The Ordinaryโs AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is a deep exfoliant to be used bi-weekly. It helps unclog pores and reduces the appearance of white- and blackheads common with oily skin.
The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is a dream for oily skin. It reduces excess sebum production, preventing congestion and blackheads. Zinc also reduces inflammation and scarring.
The Ordinaryโs Marine Hyaluronic offers deep hydration which helps with sebum production.
Verdict:
It is tricky to layer active ingredients like Ordinary peeling solutions and Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% as they may interact with other products in your skincare routine. It is thus not suitable for beginners.
Some might feel that Mixsoonโs ultra-hydrating products are a bit too intense and could feel like an oily film on the skin. There is thus a slight learning curve needed in adding the correct amount of product for oily skin.
Combination Skin
Combination skin, with both oily and dry areas on the face, requires a skincare routine that caters to both. Gentle cleansers, nourishing toners, and non-pore-clogging moisturizers are essential. Both Mixsoon and The Ordinary offer such products.
Mixsoon
Fortunately, Mixsoonโs products work for all skin types so you can play with their products. Still, we recommend the Bean Cleansing Oil as a cleanser for combination skin that’s more oily. It offers deep hydration without adding a greasy feeling and works well for dry areas.
Heartleaf Toner has been formulated to deliver immediate soothing benefits to irritated skin while providing deep hydration to dry areas and regulating excessive oil production.
The award-winning Bean Essence is a top-seller. It enhances skin texture and minimizes pores by delicately eliminating dead skin cells from the outer layer, unveiling a more radiant and luminous complexion.
The Ordinary
The Ordinaryโs Multi-Peptide + HA Serum helps to lock in moisture, addressing dryness on combination skin while peptides work together to improve skin smoothness and target signs of ageing.
The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA is best for dry combination skin. It not only has hyaluronic acid but has naturally occurring moisturising compounds found in the skin to help address both short-term and long-term skin hydration needs.
The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is a holy elixir for anyone with oily combination skin. It offers non-greasy hydration, regulates sebum production, and helps fight acne thanks to its added zinc.
Verdict:
The Ordinaryโs Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% can help regulate oil production but may cause dryness to already dry skin. Some users also experienced acne purging the first few times using it.
Because The Bean Essence is so mild, there is a possibility of overusing it irritating skin. We thus recommend that you use it no more than 2-3 times a week.
Sensitive Skin
If you have sensitive skin, you need products that help target visible redness, support hydration, and repair the skin barrier. For those with sensitive skin, Mixsoon’s and The Ordinary’s product lines offer a range of gentle and effective solutions.
Mixsoon
All of Mixsoonโs products are soothing and work well with sensitive skin, but its Bifida Ferment Essence is especially great because it supports the skin barrier. It helps protect your already tender skin from oxidative stress and inflammatory stimuli.
The Soondy Centella Asiatica Essence and Heartleaf Toner hydrates and nourishes the skin leaving it soft and supple. It also helps improve elasticity and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Centella Asiatica is known for its natural power and anti-inflammatory properties that calm irritated skin.
The Ordinary
Start your skin routine with the gentle, non-foaming Glycolipid Cream Cleanser. Its nourishing formula supports the skin’s natural barrier and maintains its natural pH balance for a healthier complexion.
The Ordinary’s Aloe 2% + NAG 2% Solution is a soothing face serum that targets post-acne marks, uneven skin, and texture. Itโs free from harsh ingredients, supports skin barrier function, and boosts hydration.
The Ordinary’s Soothing & Barrier Support Serumโs lightweight water-based formula hydrates the skin within 2 hours and maintains hydration throughout the day. It also helps repair the skin barrier by soothing discomfort and reducing the appearance of redness.
verdict
Mixsoon has the best products for sensitive skin by far. All its products, including their exfoliants, are gentle and can be mixed without fear of agitation.
Has the Ordinary Met Its Match?
And there you have it – the ultimate showdown between Mixsoon and The Ordinary. While both brands have their strengths and weaknesses, it’s clear that Mixsoon’s focus on locally sourced, plant-based ingredients, and specialised extraction methods gives them a slight edge in the world of skincare.
This brand is a game-changer. Not only is it incredibly gentle and soft on the skin, but it’s also free from harsh chemicals. Meaning you can layer products without worrying about adverse reactions, making it super easy to customise your routine to your unique skin needs โ whether dry, sensitive, or oily.
Say goodbye to the stress of mixing and matching products and hello to a more personalised, effective, and safe skincare experience!
Mixsoon Skincare Products
Elevate your skincare routine with Mixsoon.
Itโs focus on locally sourced, plant based ingredients that are not harmful to the skin.
Iโm excited to try Mixsoon.
super excited to try both brands
I’ve used the ordinary but haven’t heard of Mixsoon until now. Will definitely try it out.
Mixsoon, viral sensation and the IT skin brand in Korea , provides quality skin care that caters for all skin types and utilizes natural minerals to minimize sensitivity reactions . It is extremely gentle and provides the least amount of irritation due to careful consideration in using mild plant-based ingredients thus cruelty free and also prevents any harsh reactions. I specifically want to use the bean essence due to its promise and feedback in providing glassy and glowing skin
I always wanted to try Korean skincare products and these products look amazing.
mixsoon is very good highly recommend haven’t used it myself but my friends have and they all love it
I have only tried The Ordinary before, but would really look into Mixoon to be able to compare the two brands on personal use.
For me, Mixsoon stands out because of the locally sourced, natural ingredients.
With both sensitive and combination skin, I donโt enjoy exploring with products as my skin reacts quickly, but with k-skincare the simple ingredients with a focus on skin barrier protection have changed my experience completely.
Mixsoon all the way! Korean skincare is just next level !
I choose mixsoon always !
Mixsoon is the clear winner in my opinion!
Interesting information over here! Being in my 30s Itโs time to do some skin damage control ๐ฅน๐ซถ๐ป
Love that both brands are cruelty free and have excellent skincare ingredients
Very insightful!
Very interesting!
Mixsoon stands out for its minimalist approach to skincare, using only the highest quality ingredients sourced directly from their own plantation farms.
very informative
I have tried the mixoon products before and I must say according to my research it was the right pick. I have combination skin and I was able to achieve glass looking skin because of mixoon
I’m very intrigued by Mixsoon! and can’t wait to try it. I have very sensitive skin naturally and am impressed with knowing that Mixsoon is gentle and free from harsh chemicals! fingers crossed for the competition x stupidlyhopeful
mixoon worked extremely well for my combination skin to give me glass skin.
Mixsoon is always a winner. I love how gentle it is on my extra sensitive skin and I love that itโs plant based. Ever since I tried Mixsoon Iโve never looked back. I thoroughly enjoy the products and the experience!!
Very interesting to read what mixsoon has to offer and how attentive they are in helping create an excellent skincare routine for their buyers, as well as the comparison to the brand Ordinary this makes it easier to visualize the effectiveness of their products.
I’m so excited to purchase products from them
This is super insightful! I am a kbeauty lover so itโs really nice to be able to learn more about the differences in these kind of products. ๐ค
love you guys!
your products are amazing
Definitely picking the ordinary
I’m thrilled to enter this giveaway because I’ve heard amazing things about Mixsoon’s gentle, effective, and cruelty-free products! As someone who’s struggled with acne and sensitive skin, I’m eager to try their innovative skincare solutions. Mixsoon’s focus on locally sourced, plant-based ingredients and specialized extraction methods resonates with me. I’m excited to experience their products’ potential to hydrate, nourish, and protect my skin. Winning this giveaway would mean a lot to me – it would give me the chance to try Mixsoon’s products and hopefully find a new skincare routine that makes me feel confident and radiant in my own skin. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to share my experience with others and inspire them to take care of their skin as well. Fingers crossed!
I full heartedly will go with Mixsoon. After reading this I am more certain about choosing mixsoon as my skincare product of choice. I have sensitive skin and acne prone skin as well and Mixsoon seems like a brand that will help in catering for my skin the best, without any harm to my skin barrier. However, The Ordinary has also been a brand that I’ve wanted to try but seeing how it is a bit tricky to use considering that the products seem to be catered more towards experts and not beginners. Nonetheless, I loved reading this as it was easy to understand and great for anyone whose looking to find their skincare brand match.
Have only tried ordinary products till now. I am in love with the glycolic acid and hair density serum.
I have also only tried the ordinary, yet to see a major difference
I would definitely appreciate it if I actually got the giveaway. I have seen how people’s skin improves after using these skincare products. I would love to try them out myself
Mixsoon for the WIN!!
I made the switch to Mixsoon Skincare from The Ordinary and I’m never looking back! Mixsoon’s products are like a breath of fresh air for my skin – they’re gentle, effective, and absorb so quickly. The Ordinary products always felt harsh and drying to me, but Mixsoon’s formulas are like a soothing hug for my face. Plus, the packaging is gorgeous and feels so luxurious! Mixsoon is totally worth the investment – my skin has never looked or felt better!
For sure Mixsoon! I have loved a few Ordinary products but they are not as versatile
absolutely agreed! i feel it’s better used with alittle more natural ingredients and isn’t so harsh.
super informative! great post
Mixsoon for the WIN!!
Skin looks amazing with using The Ordinary
Nice and informative article! I’ve been a loyal champion of The Ordinary but me and my dry skin are so intrigued by Mixsoon…the products for dry skin seem like the ideal thing for me and who doesn’t want glass skin? Think I might consider giving them a try.
mixsoon stand out because it uses more of natural Ingredients than harsh chemical. it’s very gentle on the skin and what stands out the most is that is Enriched with fermented beans
Mixsoon = glass skin!
the ordinary offers value for money but i love love mixsoon
i love korean skin care brands, therefor mixoon takes first place.
i feel their ingredients are incredible
i use two of the ordinarys products still, but if i were to live with one brand it would be a korean brand for sure.
ordinary did not work for me personally ,but i would love to try mixsoon. The ingredients look promising
I have seen many videos on mixoon, I have yet to try it myself. The results I see from mixoon is that glass skin finish everyone is raving about. We love that!
mixsoon = glass skin!!!! The ordinary doesnโt agree with my skin lol
Never used mixsoon but it seems to be a really good brand, Iโve seen many people use it and get amazing results – better than the ordinary in my opinion. Iโve used the ordinary before- only the niacinamide and it was working really well for my skin initially, but over time it actually broke down my skin barrier! Way too high of a concentration. I think mixsoon would do wonders for my skin
Cool
Mixoon has definitely been a step up for my skincare journey.
I think Mixsoon and the ordinary are both great brands that can be perfect for anything whether youโre looking for basics or feeling adventurous!
As much as I like the ordinary’s products, I am eager to try ingredients in Mixsoon that are more gentle and less irritating on the skin! great review, thanks!
Such a great way of comparing the two with all the different skin types. Give you the ability to make an informed decision. I can’t wait to try the Mixsoon range ๐
I haven’t used any of the mixsoon products but heard amazing things so definitely can’t wait to give it a try.
I have personally never used mixsoon or the ordinary, but have heard good things about both brands. The ordinary has really good products that focuses on simplifying your routine, with the added bonus of it being affordable. However after much research on mixsoon, I would much prefer mixsoon as it is cruelty free and focuses on strengthening the skin barrier (which I desperately need). Mixsoon has so many great products with great reviews, and I would love to try it!
I havenโt used all of the ordinary products but the ones I have used did not result to a big change but they work for others. mixsoon seems to be a really good brand, I will definitely give it a try
Not only is it incredibly gentle and soft on the skin, but itโs also free from harsh chemicals.
They variety the ordinary offers is amazing.they have great moisturizer that males the skin feel plump. Mixoon offer some nuance products like the bean essence that is many people’s go to product seeking glass skin.
I would prefer using the mix mixsoon, especially considering that I have dry skin. The ingredients seem more natural and easier to use. I don’t want to put a lot of chemicals on my face. Mixsoon has so many great products , that just by reading about it I know it would be perfect for my skin. I’m looking forward to trying the Mixsoon products.
I am very intrigued to try Mixsoon… I’ve been suffering for years with combination skin and breakouts and scarring between my cheeks and chin… every new product that I try seems to work well at first until it didn’t work anymore…
Wow!!
Both brands are really amazing and gentle on the skin. Only tried one product of mixoon which is the bean essence and itโs definitely worth the hype, canโt wait to try the others. The ordinary has great products too such as the glycolic acid which is a gentle exfoliater and leaves you with a glow.
I’ve only tried The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG 30ml so far but am very impressed with the results. Haven’t tried Mixsoon but would LOVE to give it a go. I love anything ultra-hydrating that keeps my skin feeling hydrated throughout the day.
I cannot wait try the bean essence, I’ve heard such great things about it! So grateful that you’ve made these brands accessible to us <3
I have tried the Ordinary before and I loved it. I haven’t yet tried Mixsoon, but looking at the ingredients, it’s definitely worth trying out
I like would like to try the mixsoon brand becausei feel like it would be more gentleon my skin plus i have spent alot of time watching reviewsabout the mixsoon products.
I have tried the ordinary products and they didn’t work for me they gave me bad breakouts and made me darker ever since then I have been suffering to get my skin back on the right track. I
I would love to try the mixsoon products.I have used the ordinary products and they broke me out really bad. I have been watching skin care reviews on the mixsoon products and I would really love the opportunity to try them out
Both equally have their place in skincare with pros and cons, they just market themselves to different audiences. I love using both to target specific concerns which is ultimately what you want in the world of skincare
I can’t wait to try Mixsoon’s range of products. I like that they have no harsh chemicals, are vegan, provide lots of moisture, and are good value for money.
I’ve always had a fascination with skincare, I really love how Secret Skin breaks down the information into digestible pieces for everyone to understand and make use of. My acne has always been present which can take a toll on a woman’s self esteem, especially since we all watch those amazing tiktoks about clear skin remedies. So far I can whole heartedly say that the only thing to lessen my acne has been Korean skincare and the active ingredients that are inside the skincare products.
Definitely want to try Mixsoon it has more natural ingredients than The Ordinary..
Mixoon for sure, the ordinary doesn’t do much for my skin compared to Mixoon.
As someone with extremely sensitive skin, I’ve always gravitated towards Korean Skincare. Can’t wait to try the Mixsoon brand!
I have used some The Ordinary products but would love to give Mixoon a try. The Bean Essence sounds wonderful.
I love both The Ordinary and Mixsoon. I am not gonna go in on how good both brands are for your skin, but when I put Mixsoon products on my face, it gives me that exact feeling like when I’m eating ice cream on a hot summer’s day, total bliss.
I have only ever tried the ordinary serums for my hyperpigmentation and dry skin, and am really enjoying them so far
Mixsoon is purely plant based and entirely cruelty-free and vegan.
it’s also suitable for all skin types especially skin that requires hydration.
For me, I love how Mixoon has different products that each have their own “star ingredient”. Sometime when trying a product it might be great but one small ingredient could deter you from buying it (for me its always niacinamide – cant have too much of a good thing!) so the fact that Mixoon has a lof of toners and essences with different benefits to choose from (at a high concentration and great quality) its great to have a variety of options to choose from.
As someone who struggles with hyperpigmentation and acne prone skin that is sensitive and dry, it has been quite a struggle to find suitable skincare that caters to my skin type and struggles without further causing harm on my skin barrier. I have found that the ordinary is a good and pretty reputable line of skincare but overtime it has worsened my hyperpigmentation and caused my skin to be extra dry, so it is safe to say it is not suitable for sensitive and dry skin like mine. I love that Mixson offers plant-based skincare that is gentle to the skin and caters to a wide range of skin types and is not so complicated in terms of usage, it is very beginner friendly. It has been quite a challenge figuring what to and what not to layer in terms of the ordinary product line which just makes skincare feels more like a chore or homework. The cat’s out the bag good people!! Mixsoon for the Win.
This break down is really great!
While the price point for The Ordinary is no match for Mixsoon, I believe you get what you pay for. I completely lost trust with The Ordinary with their ridiculously high percentage actives, almost like they were creating the problem of a damaged skin barrier to prep the stage for their new range targeting exactly that issue.
Mixsoon comes from a long standing Korean skincare ethos of prevention and protection is better than cure, with gentler ingredients, ingredients from nature backed by extensive research and science, and a focus on healthy, hydrated and nourished skin. I’ve tried two of their products and I have yet to be disappointed. The innovation, research and technology backing so many Korean skincare brands in general at such a good price point is really hard to beat and my sensitive skin just can’t get enough!
I have been waiting to try Korean brands considering Korea has the leading position in skincare. I like that mixsoon will give me the glass skin look as well as keep my skin nourished and healthy. The ordinary didnโt seem like a good fit for me considering I have dry skin and I want to hydrate and nourish my skin, without the harsh chemicals..
MIXSOON Bean skincare line is formulated with fermented beans, barley, pomegranate and pear. These ingredients are rich in natural antioxidants that works by brightening dull skin, gently exfoliating rough patches and delivering essential minerals deep into the skin for a revitalized, healthy and glowing complexion
MIXSOON Bean skincare line is formulated with fermented beans, barley, pomegranate and pear. These ingredients are rich in natural antioxidants that works by brightening dull skin, gently exfoliating rough patches and delivering essential minerals deep into the skin for a revitalized, healthy and glowing complexion. Mixsoon has created a line of skincare thatโs as effective as gentle. Rooted in traditional Korean herbal medicine, it blends ancient wisdom with modern science to create pure, organic essences and products tailored to all skin types.
I havenโt tried mixsoon yet but according to what I read, seems like mixsoon would be a great brand to use when you start ur skincare as a beginner as it as many products that are good for sensitive people. The ordinary products, I have tried so far and they are good products.
amazing!
I have been using the ordinary for awhile I like the glycolic acid and retinoid. however,I have seen results of people using mixsoon, and their skin looks beautiful. I want to try and see.
Mixsoon feels more holistic and gentler fo the skin.
I just love mixsoon better…plz I wanna win
Loved reading this. It was extremely insightful.
I am definitely trying the Mixsoon Madagascar Centella range to assist me with hyperpigmentation and produce a healthy, glowing and irresistible skin.
Mixsoon offers better value with its luxurious, high-performance formulations that deliver visible results, blending advanced technology with premium ingredients, while The Ordinary focuses on affordability and simplicity.
I have tried both Mixoon and The Ordinary products, and even though I love the niacinamide serum from The ordinary ( I genuinely saw a difference) everything else I tried wasn’t really suited for me. Mixoon gave me hydration pro Max and I actually just now figured that’s what I actually needed. If I ever have any acne to target, The ordinary all the way and for now- since my skin is behaving, I’ll be on Mixoon. I’m sorry I can’t pick one, I love them both ๐
I have used a few of The Ordinary products but the Mixsoon products look really good would love an opportunity to try them ๐
Awesome! Was a fun read!
The use mixsoon’s clean ingredients makes it a winner so for me. Beauty brands are loading products with ingredients no one has heard of and it’s nice to no mixsoon focuses on clean ingredients.
Both have individual products that are AMAZING!!!
BUTTT Mixsoon is definitely a winner for me. Love a natural product. It is just better in every way.
This is coming from someone that started her skincare journey with The Ordinary.๐๐
i have yet to try mixsoon, but the ordinary unfortunately burned my skin.
My skin needs hydration, especially during the winter season, so I would love to try the Mixsoon products.
Iโve always had troubles with finding the right skincare products due to my skin condition. Mixsoon products have definitely been a game changer. Theyโre not only beginner friendly but as someone who suffers from hyperpigmentation, Mixsoon has definitely been a life saver. Mixsoon products will forever win my heart no matter what
Iโve always had troubles with finding the right skincare products due to my skin condition. Mixsoon products have definitely been a game changer. Theyโre not only beginner friendly but they also worked well with my sensitive skin. As someone who suffers from hyperpigmentation, Mixsoon has definitely been a life saver. Mixsoon products will forever win my heart no matter what
I have tried both. I love the way Mixsoon feel, and my skins just loves & soaks up mixsoon – it feel so hydrated! The Ordinary is good, but my skin prefers Mixsoon. either way you win with these products
Mixsoon uses natural ingredients which is less harsh on the skin especially for people with sensitive skin.
I’m really happy to have found a place that sells Korean skincare. The quality of the ingredients and the different pairings of ingredients is simple and next level at the same time from the different brands. Brands like The Ordinary I like, however in comparison to the Korean formulations the efficacy seems of a higher degree. Looking forward to trying Mixsoon in the future.
I have only ever used The Ordinary products but reading this has really made me interested in trying Mixsoon products.
Mixsoon all the way. I absolutely adore their hyaluronic acid so much. I also find a little bit of their products goes a long way.
I love you guys, I only recently discovered this site and I got so excited when I saw all the international products are sold in rands and shipped to SA ๐ญ. And the prices are so reasonable! Iโm really excited to try the products because my skin isnโt the greatest and I need a proper skin care routine.
Iโve already used and currently still using the Ordinary products however I am excited about Mixoon. I have oily skin but still want to achieve that glass skin.
I have always used the ordinary but Iโm slowly transitioning to korean skin care and Mixsoon is honestly one of my favourite brands like 10/10 experience when using the products and how my skin feels afterwards
i have been testing the waters with Mixsoon as the ordinary is too harsh for skin and I’m finding it much hydrating and soothing, especially during winter!
Its so awesome that you sell products from other countries that we can also try.
I haven’t been able to try either of the brands but judging on the above, I’m definitely keen and excited to try Mixsoon! I have dry, sensitive and eczema prone skin ๐ญ so mixsoon would be perfect for me ๐
Definitely The Ordinary
Before reading the article I knew my vote would go to Mixsoon. The Ordinary uses too many complex ingredients, and if you arenโt specialized and donโt know what youโre doing you can damage your skin quite easily. Mixsoon is fantastic, extremely easy to understand and extremely easy to use!!!
Love them!!!
After having tried The Ordinary in comparison to Mixsoon, personally for my skin Mixsoon has been the more suited brand.
I love Mixsoon, perfect for my sensitive and redness prone skin. Definitely more gentle than the ordinary.
I have not tried mixsoon as i wasnt aware that it is cruelty free and vegan! Have tried the ordinary and love it! Definite value for money.
I have used and repurchased The Ordinary’s zinc and niacinamide and I absolutely adore it! It definitely strengthened my skin barrier. It definitely can cause some reactions on sensitive skin though. My first bottle came from a friend whose skin couldn’t tolerate it well. To those wondering if they should get The Ordinary: 1. purchase the smaller sized serums first to test it out 2. I wouldn’t recommend it if you already have plenty of active ingredients in your routine. Mixoon would be the better option for you. I only use two active ingredients in my routine, one a.m. and one p.m. All in all, it definitely is worth a try!
I’ve just begun using Mixsoon and I love it.
I have never tried or heard of Mixoon. But after reading this article itโs definitely convinced me to give the product a try. With the amount of products out on the market and all the gimmicky marketing itโs often difficult to differentiate between products as consumer with no skincare background besides whatโs written on the bottle. So having access to information like this is great and really helps you better understand your products and why certain ingredients and ingredients combinations make a product different. Definitely gonna give Mixoon a try.
Mixsoon Galactomyces Ferment Essence:
I have really dry skin after being on accutane. Iโve found that Mixoon works wonders for my dry and sensitive skin. Itโs super hydrating and great for irritable, and even redness prone skin. A little goes a long way for me. I add a few drops into my moisturizer or accompanying serum, and it works beautifully โค๏ธ
Mixsoon is perfect! As an aesthetician i would recommend mixsoon over the ordinary.
Thanks for the informative post. I haven’t tried Mixsoon as yet but have heard great things about the products. I’ve tried a few products from The Ordinary but was left disappointed, didn’t give me the expected results
Would love to try mixsoon, have heard very good comments
Definitely the mixsoon
Thank you for doing the research for us. I am a die hard The Ordinary fan but I have not tried Monsoon yet, Iโm so glad I found this website so Iโll definitely be trying this brand now.
definitely Mixsoon. I’ve heard so many good things about it in social media. although it’s pricey, it’s a good a choice. it’s cruelty free and doesn’t use any harmful ingredients.
definitely Mixsoon. I’ve heard so many good things about it in social media. although it’s pricey. a good a choice. cruelty free and doesn’t use any harmful ingredients.
definitely Mixsoon. I’ve heard so many good things about it. is abit pricey but a good a choice. cruelty free and does not use any harmful ingredients.
Mixsoon all the way !
Korean skincare is the answer to all my problems !
Mixsoon is the best product:
1. Natural ingredients
2. Not harsh on the skin
3. Glowy skin
I would honestly like to try out the mixsoon.. I have read the reviews on it and believe that it would do wonders on my skin as I have acne prone skin and sensitive skin.
Mixsoon for the win
the mixsoon brand offers more protection and help to sensitive skin, it also has more natural ingredients whereas the ordinary brand uses alot of acids in them and can cause damage to the skin in the sun
Mixsoon vs. The Ordinary: Why Mixsoon is My Top Choice
As someone who has tried both Mixsoon and The Ordinary, I can confidently say that Mixsoon has become my go-to skincare brand, and here’s why.
Mixsoon: Superior Simplicity and Effectiveness
Mixsoon’s approach to skincare is refreshingly simple yet incredibly effective. The brand focuses on using clean, natural ingredients that work harmoniously with the skin, making their products perfect for all skin types, especially sensitive skin like mine. What I love most about Mixsoon is its minimalist philosophy. Each product is crafted to deliver multiple benefits without overwhelming my skin with too many active ingredients.
Products like the Mixsoon Bean Essence and Propolis Serum have transformed my skincare routine. They provide deep hydration, nourishment, and a noticeable glow without any irritation. The lightweight textures absorb beautifully, leaving my skin balanced and revitalised. I also appreciate that Mixsoonโs products are versatile, addressing various skin concerns with just one formula.
Why Mixsoon Over The Ordinary?
While The Ordinary is known for its potent, science-backed formulas, Iโve found that the brandโs focus on single-ingredient products can sometimes be too much for my skin. The need to layer multiple products to achieve the desired effect can be overwhelming and time-consuming. In contrast, Mixsoonโs holistic approach suits my preference for a streamlined routine with fewer, but more effective, products.
Mixsoonโs commitment to using gentle yet powerful natural ingredients gives me peace of mind, knowing that Iโm treating my skin with the best nature has to offer. The brand has struck the perfect balance between tradition and modern skincare science, and my skin has never felt better.
Final Thoughts
For me, Mixsoon stands out as the superior choice. Its gentle, effective, and multi-functional products align perfectly with my skincare needs and lifestyle. While The Ordinary has its merits, Mixsoonโs philosophy of simplicity and its focus on natural, skin-friendly ingredients make it the brand I prefer and trust.
I had never heard of Mixsoon until now but am really keen to try it out as I love ‘the Ordinary’ products, and Mixsoon may just be better suited to my skin.
I’ve used some products from the Ordinary, so I think what really makes Mixsoon stand out is the fact that they use plant-based ingredients which ends up being less harsh on the skin but is still just as effective. Although I haven’t tried anything from Mixsoon yet, I use a few Korean skincare products that also use mostly plant-based ingredients. And so I always find those products much gentler on my skin. The Ordinary is great but as the article mentioned, you can’t layer the products as easily as you can with Mixsoon; which can be quite a scary experience if you don’t do your research! Also love that Mixsoon punts their support towards nature conservation by using locally-sourced ingredients and using a polar bear as their mascot. Definitely keen to support them after finding that out!
As someone who’s always used Ordinary it feels good to hear about Mixsoon. The side by side comparisons and key elements in terms of ingredients and performance and what to expect as an add goal, including all skin concerns is the cherry on top. Thank you Mixsoon for this elaborate and informative post, you definitely stand out and you’ve got my attention. Looking forward to it.
Mixsoon is amazingโฆliterally your face feels baby soft. For clear skin itโs a must.
Mixsoon stands out for me more.
Mixsoon stands out as it makes use of natural ingredients and simplifies it even more by using only the essential ingredients โ nothing more. It uses only the needed ingredients meaning it has fewer unnecessary additives and active ingredients.
Mixsoon is the combination of 2 words mix meaning mixing and soon coming from a Chinese-Korean word means purity therefore itโs a pure mixture of selective ingredients which allow people to get glowy and glass skin
shout out toโmixsoon โ
Mixsoon is cruelty free And plant based. Their products are gentle which is perfect for my sensitive skin, this doesn’t mean it is not effective enough, mixsoon uses active ingredients which target your skin problems while simultaneously maintaining and healing your skin barrier. Ultimately promoting healthy skin.
I love the fact that Mixsoon has one product that tackles a lot of your skin problems. I am no stranger to The Ordinary products and they have some good products but it is exhausting having to buy different products that tackle all your skin problems. For instance I have dry skin and have hyperpigmentation, I would have to buy niacinamide and alpha arbutin to tackle dark spots and skin texture but with mixsoon the glacier water hyaluronic acid does that for me and adds hydration.
I have not had the chance to use either mixoon or the ordinary but overall I’ve heard such GLOWING reviews from Mixoon as compared to the ordinary for various different categories. Mixoon is for everyone so big ups to them!
Vegan & Cruelty- free will always be my go to. I love the Mixsoon bean essence & I’m impressed at their ability to create products that rival competitors while being cruelty-free !
I would have to say Mixoon , The main reason why I love their skincare is because it doesn’t really have the harsh acids like glycolic acid for example, Their products REALLY hydrate the skin , and since where I live is very Cold I find their products very useful. They are a bit pricier for me in terms of skincare but they are completely worth it! I have been into more ‘ natural ‘ skincare Lately and that’s how I discovered Mixoon and so far it looks like I might have to buy the entire collection๐
I’ve been using The Ordinary for years. I am always worried when trying new skin products because of my sensitive skin. But I am REALLY keen to try Korean Skincare for that glass skin <3
Gentle ingredients suitable for sensitive skin, suitable for beginners and eco conscious.
Gentle ingredients suitable for sensitive skin, suitable for beginners and eco conscious. Simple to use and not too many products clouding your knowledge and choice.
Love the ordinary glycolic acid, HA, azelaic acid and alpha arbutin. I have combo sensitive skin, prone to eczema but products work well.
Going to get both!
This is my very first time reading about Mixoon and after receiving all this information about it I’m so impressed and excited to try it out!!!
The brand that offers better value in terms of ๐ฐ money would probably be The Ordinary but in terms of skin benefits, I would say Mixoon. Korean skincare focuses more on hydration which results in plumpy, hydrated skin. I’m trying to look like a glazed donut for the next 30 years without barely any wrinkles.
Always wanted to try out mixsoon
Iโve only ever used the Ordinary, Iโd never heard of Mixoon. It looks great, and love that itโs beginner friendly, trying to explore Korean products can be overwhelming but their products so I like their range and excited to try it!
Mixoon
Mixsoon Bean essence made my skin so smooth and didn’t aggravate my eczema.
Mixsoon Bean essence made my skin so smooth and didn’t aggravate my eczema.
Iโve tried the ordinary but not Mixsoon, i have been dying to try out the Mixsoon bean essence, heard pretty good things about it and the whole brand itself.
Mixsoon is cruelty free and vegan
Mixsoon is a safer option for me don’t have to worry about any harsh chemicals in the product and I love that it’s vegan and cruelty free.
I’d love to try Mixsoon but the Ordinary products did wonders for my pigmentation!
Mixsoonโs focus is on locally sourced, plant-based ingredients which allows it to be gentle and soft on the skin, as well as free from harsh chemicals.
Cruelty free and nourishing! Great product
This is such an informative article! Excited to try Mixsoon as a brand
I personally prefer the ordinary because it smoothen the skin
Love that Mixsoon is great for sensitive skin and that it supports the skin barrier. Definitely a win win!
I have heard so many good things about The Ordinary. I cant wait to try it!
Good comparison, well explained. Mixsoon stands out because of the ingredientsโฆ where The Ordinary is very much chemical based, Mixsoon is all natural. Canโt wait to start using mine!
Mixsoon is lovely on my skin
Mixsoon feels so soft on my skin.
Mixsoon has all natural product and is cruelty free. it’s one of the only brands that you don’t have to worry about your skin type and layer it’s products. I defam going to be looking at this for my daughter’s and myself.
I’m yet to try Mixoon…but the product range sounds exciting! I’m definitely getting the bean essence once it’s back in stock.
Mixsoon is gentle enough to mix ingredients getting the ultimate skincare routine for your skin concerns.
Mixsoon, they have the best formulations and are always gentle on the skin.
Mixsoon, while slightly more expensive, provides high-quality formulations with a focus on natural and fermented ingredients, making it a better choice for those prioritizing innovative, skin-friendly products.
As someone who has sensitive skin, Mixsoon is the best for me. I’d love to try it out.
I am REALY EXCITED to try the Mixsoon range. I have used The Ordinary previously and didn’t see the results I was hoping for.
I have tried various ranges skincare ranges now but to date have not found what I’m looking for.
I really hope the Mixsoon range will help me settle all my skincare issues.
The reviews makes me excited to try the Mixsoon range.
Iโve been using the Mixsoon Bean Cream at night for the past six months (and also after facials), and I must say, WOW! The hydration that the cream provides is on another level. Iโve always looked for a hydrating cream without making my skin look oily (and I have oily skin), and must say this is definitely one of the bests I have ever tried. Iโve used other well-known, very expensive brands as well before, but this cream just boosted the bar way up! Absolutely worth getting!
I prefer Mixsoon because its gentle formulation is safe for all skin types, allowing me to layer products without worrying about irritation. Mixsoon focuses on hydration and skin barrier protection, providing consistent and effective results. Unlike The Ordinary, which can be tricky to use due to its potent actives, Mixsoon offers an stress-free and safe skincare routine thatโs easy to customize and incorporate in any routine.
Mixsoonโs natural Korean derived ingredients and its quality for that glowy, glass skin effect. Also for someone with dry sensitive skin the products would be super hydrating and soothing. So keen to try!
The Ordinary! You can easily tailor your routine by mix and matching ingredients to specifically target your skin concerns. Plus it is budget-friendly enough to truly get a targeted, effective, and good quality skincare routine unique to your needs.
Thatโs an amazing breakdown! Iโm dying to try Mixoon and this article has def convinced me to try it!
I feel each brand has its place. There are certain products from the ordinary which I feel can be very beneficial such as the ordinary hylaronic acid + B5. On the opposite hand the Mixsoon range is a more natural and gentle, but just as effective. The ordinary range has the benefit of a lower cost in comparison to mixroon. Overall, for my skin type I feel the Mixoon range adheres to my concerns as well as being a natural based brand which conforms to the types of products that are more effective on a sensitive skin type. It would be a dream to try Mixoon products!
Love that Mixsoon is a k-beauty brand! best skincare.
Iโll definitely be giving Mixsoon a shot. Iโve got acne prone skin and have always used active ingredients to clear it up, but my skin gets irritated pretty quickly. Hopefully Mixsoonโs natural ingredients will help my skin calm down.
As someone who has previously used the ordinary products, I am excited to try the Mixsoon range. I like that itโs simple โcleanโ skincare that will be gentle on my sensitive skin.
what I’ve heard is sometimes plant based is more healthier for your skin
Iโve heard and read the hype about Korean skincare and Mixsoon is the first range Iโve seen in South Africa. My friend uses their products and says itโs working really well. Something I definitely want to try.
Iโve heard and read the hype about Korean skincare. This is the first time Iโm seeing it in South Africa. Something I definitely want to try to achieve glass skin with clean products.
I am obsessed with Korean skincare so I have to say I am excited to try Mixsoon. I love that itโs beginner friendly and has clean ingredients which is great for my sensitive skin.
I absolutely love the Mixoon brand. Their ingredients target my acne prone skin, especially their bean essence. Most of the product line has no pore clogging ingredients which I absolutely love for my acne prone skin. The Ordinary now have more of a variety of products. Their products are more effective. I absolutely love the Salicylic and Glycolic Acid. Both brands are so good! โค๏ธ
The Ordinary and Mixsoon are both wonderful brands that cater to various skincare concerns through specially formulated ingredients. As someone with sensitive and acne prone skin, however, Mixsoon has been far more effective and I look forward to incorporating more of its products into my daily routine.
I have purchased the Bean essence and itโs the best decision I ever made. I keep getting compliments on how healthy my skin is looking. Itโs works like bomb while being gentle. Love it
Mixsoon is definitely a winner for me!
The ordinary was one of the popular skin care brands that people used to swear about its effectiveness and affordability. Seeing Korean skincare brands become more popular with the trend in achieving glass skin has been so interesting. Most ingredients that are used in Korean skincare are natural and are more focused on hydration.
I love The Ordinary, caters to my full body skin care needs since I have very acne prone skin with hyperpigmentation
The products sound amazing. Would love to try some!
I definitely need to try mixsoon.
I’ve been wanting to try Korean skincare FOREVER.
These look amazing!!!
I’ve used the ordinary before. I’ve not yet tried mixsoon. would love to try it out.
I haven’t tried using either one but I know of a lot of people who use The Ordinary and they speak very highly of it. I would try either one honestly. This article gave me a lot of insight about both brands.
Mixsoon stands out because the focus purely on the necessary ingredients. Their formulas arenโt overly complicated with unnecessary harsh percentages of ingredients. They are a stellar brand as a result of their simplicity.
As a skincare enthusiast i lean heavily towards Mixsoon as i prefer their minimalist approach, I’m also biased in thinking K Beauty is miles ahead of conventional beauty products
For me as a sensitive skinned girl, Mixsoon plant-based ingredients are imperative as they generally pure and are comparable/mixed with all other products, I do not have to compare and read the ingredients to check against my other products to see whether they will cause irritation or compromise my skin Barrier when combined with one another.
mixsoon has become a viral hit ! I would gladly try it out.
I have tried the ordinary before didn’t work for my skin.
Mixsoonโs products are formulated to be easy to use and effective without needing a complex regimen, which can be a big plus for those of us who prefer a straightforward approach to skincare. If you prefer simplicity and want a few multi-functional products, Mixsoon offers better value, even if it costs a bit more per item. The combination of ingredients in one product might save you from needing multiple products.
Mixsoon is innovative and has ingredients that keep peeling back
Youth ! Absolutely love it and canโt wait to
Try the bean essence . Also
Love the packaging
Mixsoon is the best. Although itโs pricier than The Ordinary, the investment is worth it. Mixsoon offers high-quality, gentle, and natural productsโgreat news for someone like me with oily and very sensitive skin. Plus, letโs not forget that Mixsoon is a Korean brand, and Korean skincare is renowned for its effectiveness. Mixsoon does exactly what it promises, making it the better choice for me.
Truly impressed by Mixsoon, as someone who have struggled with acne and oily skin I am looking forward to try Mixsoon. I love that Mixsoonโs focus on locally sourced, plant-based ingredients, and also free from harsh chemicals.
I love Korean skincare, my daughter got me hooked on it about 2 years ago, will never go back to the mainstream junk that is out there.
Very thorough and informative – thank you!
Mixsoon definitely is a winner
A very informative piece. I would love to try the Mixsoon as I have very sensitive skin and I am very cautious to what I use on my skin.
Iโm yet to try the products Iโm in the early stages of exploring these products and I cannot wait to venture in!
Mixsoon definitely is the winner for me, I have used both mixsoon and the ordinary and mixsoon made my skin glow. I love it!!โจ
I’m always excited to try new products. Love the innovation behind this product.
Absolutely GORGEOUS
I have always wanted to try Korean skincare as i have heard so many great things about it. Die to my sensitive skin, i have been told that korean skincare, mixsoon is very calm and gentle on all types of skin.
Great to hear about mixsoon as I often wonder about the glass skin and how to achieve that
Such an informative and interesting article. Excited to try the alternate products ๐
The Ordinary as you could never go wrong with them!
I personally feel like Mixsoon is the better brand for me, as their products appeal more to my skin conditions in contrast to the ordinary
I’m definitely not a big The Ordinary fan, but I still want to try the Mixsoon!
I have honestly loved all of the products that I have purchased from secret skin. I have rather sensitive skin, however none of these products have had an adverse effects on my skin. I’m looking forward to trying out this product as it appears to relate to multiple skin concerns.
love both brands but ordinary is my go too
Iโm really excited about how much you share about your products! Your detailed breakdowns and comparisons with other brands are super informative and help me feel totally confident in what Iโm buying. Whatโs got me really pumped is Mixoonโs dedication to sensitive skinโI feel so relieved knowing itโs made with care for delicate types like mine. Plus, the promise of a glowing, youthful complexion is exactly what Iโm after. Thanks for making skincare not just effective but fun and fabulous!
i love this, so informative and a great guide for a great skin care regimen
I canโt wait to tryyyyy ๐
Mixsoon uses clean ingredients
Mixsoon bean essence has helped me to exfoliate and at the same time calm my hormonal acne while achieving glass like skin. I time I hope it helps with lightening my acne spots with continuous use.
I have never tried the Mixsoon products as yet, but from what I have read on the above article, they sound like something I would be willing to try out as I would like to achieve glass like skin.
With The Ordinary products…I can’t really fault them as I’m currently using their niacinamide, AHA + BHA Peeling solution, Glycolic Acid and Moisturizing Factors face cream, and so far, I have been happy with how my skin has improved.
This was very informative! Iโve always wanted to try Mixsoon products
very informative!!!!
With The ordinary, because of their ingredients, not all of the products can be used on top of each other, but Mixsoon uses mostly plant-based ingredients so itโs easier to mix all of their products and have a lower chance of damaging the skin barrier.
Mixsoonโs Soondy Centella Asiatica Essence and Bean Essence are favourites among people with oily skin because they hydrate without clogging pores. The Bean Essence also gently exfoliates to remove dead skin cells and help regulate sebum production
thorough and in depth analysis of brands im absolutely astounded and amazed at this blogpost thank you so much for this informative article
Never, heard of Mixsoon, but will definitely give it a go after all the good reviews I saw.
So for now, I have to give tje Ordinary the win
Mixsoon is safer for sensitive skin and i prefer it more compared to products i’ve tried from the ordinary ๐
As a fan girl, I always gravitate to Korean skincare for gentleness and ease of application without irritating my eyes <3
Love the Ordinary but Mixsoon looks like my next purchase
Definitely Mixsoon, it’s all organic, safe for sensitive skin and caters to my acne prone oil skin. Always looking for glass skin….Love it๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐๐๐ฉท๐งก๐๐๐๐ฉต๐
Mixsoon stands out as it makes use of natural ingredients and simplifies it even more by using only the essential ingredients โ nothing more!! Glass skin hello ๐

Mixsoon is your key to glass skin <3
mixsoon is theee Holy Grail to that glass skin! loving it.
Mixsoon is so gentle on the skin, as a senstive skin girly its honestly one of my favorites
I have been doing some research about Mixsoon as I am a huge skincare enthusiast, and I definitely would love to give some of their products a try as I have sensitive skin. Iโve heard really good testimonials from others with sensitive skin so Iโm feeling positive about Mixsoon
Mixsoon is amazing for layering products and to achieve that glass skin
Absolutely love it!
Mixoonโs simple and effective natural ingredients are the winner for me!
I use Mixsoon and absolutely love that their skincare. It’s gentle, effective and clean skincare that works on nourishing and caring for your skin barrier and boosts hydration to the next level! My skincare barrier has been repaired completely with Mixsoon and I will forever be grateful for that <3
Very informative article. Always scared to try out new products as my skin is sensitive… excited to know that these products are gentle and I can give the glass skin trend a try!
As someone with oily, sensitive and acne prone skin, mixsoon sounds like the best option with their genital formulas and ultra hydrating products. I have used the ordinary in the past but Mixsoon sounds like it could really make my skin smile. I wake up with dull skin in the mornings and I believe Mixsoon could really help.
Iโve tried The Ordinary products and have tried Korean products. So far Korean products have Wowโed me!!!! I love them. Iโm excited to try Mixsoon products.
Mixsoon is definitely the way to go for someone who has sensitive skin. It leaves the skin feeling soft and nourished. Once I tried Korean skincare, I never went back!!!!
Mixoon all the way. I have more faith in the true korea products! Leaves the skin healthy, glowy and vibrant!
Mixsoon for the win. This is one of my favourite Korean skincare brands. It does basic essential skincare and is bomb for hydration. Will be buying more soon
Mixsoon! Theyโre far gentler
I can’t wait to start my korean skincare routine!
Would love to try Mixsoon. I have very sensitive skin and it looks like it will work with my skin type.
Definitely Mixsoon their formulation is great with great ingredients for your face
very insightful! Mixsoon is definitely the brand I grab first though. I love how simple and gentle it is <3
“Absolutely thrilled with these products! My skin has never felt so refreshed and glowing. The quality is top-notch, and I appreciate how gentle yet effective the ingredients are. Highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their skincare routine!”
โI love Minsoon’s skincare line! The products are incredibly gentle yet effective, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and glowing. The natural ingredients make it a standout choice for anyone looking to enhance their skincare routine with high-quality, trustworthy products.”
I love Mixsoonโs skincare line! The products are incredibly gentle yet effective, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and glowing. The natural ingredients make it a standout choice for anyone looking to enhance their skincare routine with high-quality, trustworthy products. I have been using the bean essence and it does wonders. It makes my skin so soft.
Korean skincare is on another level!
I canโt wait to try both of them
Fairly new in learning about the proper skincare routines and products to help repair and nourish my skin, so havenโt had a chance to try these specific products. But the above info is very informative and Iโm now eager to try either product. Iโve heard a lot of good reviews on the Ordinary Skincare Line.
Super interesting – I can wait to try this! ๐
Mixsoon seems like the better option. The ordinary is more for like non sensitive skin. Mixsoon works with it all! Totally Mixsoon
Mixsoon is cruelty free and uses natural ingredients that help calm skin and restore the skin barrier. It’s also safe to mix their skin products without agitation so it’s suitable to use on ALL skin types. I’ve used korean skin products before and they hydrated my skin and I saw my dark spots disappearing within the first week of using them. I haven’t tried Mixsoon products but they definitely win in this case and I can’t wait to try it!
Mixsoon is a breath of fresh air in the skincare world. Their products are super gentle and perfect for all skin types, especially if you have sensitive & acne prone skin like me. I just love that you can easily layer their products without worrying about irritation.
I have been dying to try the glacier water hyaluronic acid serum as well as the bean essence as these products would be amazing for my post winter dehydrated skin!
Mixsoon for the win !!!
Mixsoon = gold medal !!!
Iโve been on the hunt for a skincare brand that caters to my normal-to-dry skin, and this comparison really helped! I love how Mixsoon focuses on hydration and gentle ingredientsโexactly what my skin craves. Their Bean Cream Moisturiser and Glacier Water Hyaluronic Acid Serum sound like game-changers for achieving that glowy, glass-skin look without irritating my skin.๐โจ
Eventhough Mixsoon is a relatively new minimalist and cruelty-free Korean beauty brand, i am intrigued by the brand’s aim to eliminate unnecessary ingredients from products and instead, focus on core ingredients. I’m definitely all in for their products especially the Bean Essence which is a vegan, cruelty-free formula devoid of artificial fragrances and other nasties, thatโs kind enough to be used on all skin types โ even the most acne-prone. And this is music to my ears as a mother in my 40s with dry-combination skin, having at the same time 2 teenage daughters with raging hormonal skins issues.
Extremely excited to go through my journey to achieve “korean glass skin” with Mixsoon’s โless is moreโ concept. Hopin’ to win the giveaway contest, help me God! *wink*
Definitely prefer Mixsoon. The centella essence healed my dry acne infested skin to recovery. I realized that I actually didn’t really have acne but my skin was inflamed because skin barrier was damaged. The Ordinary is okay and affordable – their pink barrier support serum is nice but Mixsoon products are more superior. perfect combo is the centella essence, followed up by the bean essence then moisturizer.
I am using Mixsoon products and I am happy with the results ๐ suitable for all skin types and focus on boosting hydration ,itโs a win .
Mixsoon centella sunscreen was the best I have tried so far. Absorbs easily. No white cast. And moistened my skin well.
I have tried all the serums, but haven’t quiet got that glass skin. I think its time to try Mixsoon and pamper my skin.
Mixsoon is minimalist and cruelty-free
love the Korean beauty brand that eliminates unnecessary ingredients to focus on core ingredients for your skin.
Mixsoon is based on natural ingredients that are more gentle on the skin for specific skin needs or concerns while the ordinary has more of a chemical base that is a little stronger while still having a variety or products to meet different skin concerns and needs. I personally love both but I do prefer skincare thatโs more gentle because of my sensitive skin.
What a informative read, I love that mixsoonโs uses clean ingredients, makes it a winner although I have not used it yet. Beauty brands are loading products with ingredients no one has heard of and itโs nice to no mixsoon focuses on clean ingredients.
Personally,Mixoon has changed the way my skin feels and looks. I feel much more comfortable and confident when my skin feels hydrated glowy and healthy. Maxoon has blessed my skin in so many ways. I have sensitive skin which often has allergic reactions to the products I use. Maxoon has left nothing but blessing to my sensitive skin. I love that it is cruelty free! My skin is thanking Mixoon for not adding any fragrances.
i fully heartedly with choose mixsoon being that it is gods gift to us ,so gentle on the skin , absolutely amazing glow just over all a 100/10
A really thorough analysis, thank you! Really helpful for someone who is indecisive, like me.
Way more into mixsoon, especially as it better aligns with ethical practices (bds safe) rather than the ordinary, which all the hot girls boycott, and whose parent company is not cruelty free:) let’s go mixsooooooon
The Ordinary treated my dry sensitive skin so well but I would absolutely give Mixsoon a go after reading this!
With incredibly sensitive skin I am really interested in trying the Mixsoon range! Who doesn’t want dewy, glassy skin? ๐
I love me some of the South Korean brands. Theyโre authentic and are not gimmicky. They do exactly what theyโre supposed to do on the skin. So Mixsoon for me, all the way.
mixsoon is a winner
Mixsoon al the way!
I really like how this article was written and laid out. I personally find there’s benefits to both, it’s definitely easier to reach for Mixsoon’s products since they’re already formulated and ready to go, but I also like TO’s option to mix and match to what my skins currently needs slightly more of, or what one product may be lacking in.
Mixsoon uses safer ingredients ,which i prefer.
