Rewards Policy

Overview

Secret Skin Rewards (“the Program”) is a loyalty program that lets eligible customers earn and redeem rewards when shopping with Secret Skin. By joining or using the Program, you agree to this Rewards Policy. Secret Skin may update, suspend, or end the Program at any time as described below.

Eligibility

The Program is available to individual customers for personal use only. You must create an account (or be logged in) to earn and redeem rewards. Employees, resellers, wholesale customers, or anyone purchasing for resale may be excluded at Secret Skin’s discretion. If you are under 18, you may only participate with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

How to Join

You can join by creating a customer account on the Secret Skin website and opting into the Program where available. Membership is free.

Earning Points

Points are typically earned when you make qualifying purchases on the Secret Skin website. The default earning rate is 1 point for every R10 spent on qualifying products, calculated on the subtotal after discounts and excluding shipping and taxes where applicable. Points are only awarded after the order is paid in full and once the order is shipped or delivered, as Secret Skin may apply points after fulfilment to help prevent misuse.

Qualifying Purchases

Unless stated otherwise, points are earned on skincare product purchases made directly on the Secret Skin website.

Exclusions

Points are not earned on shipping or delivery fees, taxes, customs, or duties; gift cards or vouchers (if sold); purchases made through third-party retailers or marketplaces; returns, refunds, chargebacks, or cancelled orders; or any items or promotions specifically marked as excluded from rewards.

Bonus Points

Secret Skin may offer bonus points for actions such as signing up, subscribing to a newsletter, leaving a verified product review, birthday rewards, or referring a friend. Bonus point offers may have additional rules, limits, or deadlines, and may be communicated at the time of the offer.

Points Balance and Tracking

Your points balance and rewards activity may be available in your account dashboard. If you believe your balance is incorrect, contact info@secretskin.co.za with your order details so we can investigate.

Redeeming Points

Points can be redeemed for rewards such as discounts, free products, or other benefits offered from time to time. The default redemption value is 100 points = R10 discount. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Rewards may only be redeemed on the Secret Skin website while logged into the earning account. Points cannot be transferred, sold, or combined across accounts. Secret Skin may set minimum redemption thresholds, and some products, bundles, sale items, or limited releases may be excluded from redemption.

Using Rewards at Checkout

Unless Secret Skin states otherwise, only one reward or discount code may be used per order, and rewards may not stack with certain promotions, coupon codes, or automated sale pricing. Rewards may not apply to shipping, taxes, gift cards, or other excluded items.

Returns, Refunds and Adjustments

If you return an item or receive a refund, points earned from that purchase will be removed or adjusted accordingly. If you used points on the order, points may be returned to your account only after the return is processed, subject to the original points not being expired and any applicable fraud checks. If an order is cancelled or refunded due to a chargeback, suspected fraud, or payment reversal, any earned points may be forfeited.

Points Expiry

Points expire after 12 months of inactivity, meaning no qualifying purchases or points-earning actions. Secret Skin may also set different expiry rules for promotional or bonus points, and those expiry details will be communicated where possible.

Referrals

If Secret Skin offers a referral program, referral rewards apply only to new customers who have not previously placed an order. Referral rewards may require the referred customer to make a qualifying purchase and minimum spend requirements may apply. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, or attempts to abuse the system may result in cancellation of rewards and or account suspension.

Misuse, Fraud and Account Suspension

Secret Skin may suspend or terminate your participation and remove points or rewards if it reasonably believes you have created multiple accounts to earn rewards unfairly, used fake emails or false identities, exploited bugs, resold products or used the Program for commercial purposes, or engaged in fraudulent transactions, chargebacks, or abusive behaviour.

Changes, Suspension or Termination of the Program

Secret Skin may change earning rates, redemption values, eligible products, tiers, expiry rules, or benefits, and may suspend or end the Program at any time, with or without notice where legally permitted. If the Program ends, you may lose unredeemed points and rewards unless Secret Skin states otherwise.

Privacy and Communications

To run the Program, Secret Skin will process certain personal information such as purchase history, points balance, and account details. Secret Skin may send account-related communications about your points, rewards, and changes to the Program. For more information, please refer to the Secret Skin Privacy Policy if available.
